“There is a great need”
Why I am now also a mentor
So far, most people know me as a jewelry designer, perhaps even as a bit of a crazy jewelry designer who creates small antennae with feathers, rings made of concrete or anti-corona jewelry made of brass.
And I am also a mentor, as you can see on my new website. You might ask yourself, why is Beatrice doing this?
The answer is quite simple: there is a need! I have been giving seminars and workshops on the subject of “No Stress” to a wide variety of target groups for several years now. Here, I experience time and again how not only stress and dealing with it challenges people, but also how many people are looking for “their way”, find it difficult to make decisions and are unsettled by problems and challenges. This applies to both private and professional life. That’s why I’ve had people approach me more than once and ask if I could advise, support and coach them personally.
I also set off on my journey at some point. When I was 17, I wanted to be an actress, I applied to a drama school and passed the entrance exams. But I couldn’t start – according to the rules, I was too young! Disappointed, I left Germany, did my A-levels in England and finally decided to become a goldsmith – to learn a solid craft. I managed to do that, very successfully in fact. My path was not always easy and without bends. But I was always myself and never hid my innermost self, but always made it visible. The most important medium for this is my jewelry. He’s always a bit crazy and always a bit out of the norm – just like me.
I am often asked where I get my energy, my creativity and my strength from. The answer is simple. From myself. I have this energy because I have never wasted energy on being someone else, on fitting in, on pursuing a goal that didn’t come from within me.
Now I would like to pass on my experience and knowledge. I want to give people practical help to (re)align themselves, to find their way and to go their own way. I want to encourage them to make themselves visible, to find and tap into their own sources of energy. I don’t just want to help them achieve certain goals, I want to help them really get there.
In addition to my own experience, knowledge and know-how as an entrepreneur, I also bring something else to the table – a gift that is often attested to by others and which I also notice when I design new pieces of jewelry for customers: I have a feel for what moves people, I often sense what strength and energy lies dormant in them and what potential they carry around with them. This is a very important foundation for my profession as a jewelry designer and probably one of the best prerequisites for my work as a mentor.
