About X-Design

The label X-Design by Beatrice Müller stands for exclusive jewelry outside the norm, which is made by hand from high-quality and precious materials with great attention to detail.
The interplay between jewelry, wearer and the outside world runs through Beatrice Müller’s work like a common thread, which comes into play at X-Design in two senses.
Everyday, true-to-life themes and messages are creatively translated into jewelry for the label. The main themes are NO STRESS, slowing down and being conscious in everyday life. The twisted T on the products, realized by a red thread, shows that a change of focus is enough to take the power out of stress.

In her jewelry, Beatrice Müller wants to give individual form to the feelings and wishes of her customers, and this is also a central concern at X-Design.
Jewellery and accessories from X-Design can be customized. We offer you the opportunity to design the jewelry according to your wishes, both in our studio and in the online store.

THE NO STRESS PHILOSOPHY AND THE QUESTION: HOW DO YOU TAKE THE POWER OUT OF STRESS?

Laying out the red ropes while kiting led Beatrice Müller to her own personal red thread, which became the guiding symbol of the NO STRESS philosophy and led to the founding of the X-Design by Beatrice Müller brand.
That was in 2015. A lot has happened since then. Beatrice Müller can now look back on 30 years of self-employment in the jewelry business. She has had to deal with stress on a daily basis. Whether as an entrepreneur or as a mother of two. She has often been preoccupied with the question of how to better counter stress in everyday life – or even how to take away its power.
Because stress always comes knocking from different directions. Just like the waves when kiting, stress has the ability to keep knocking on our bow. Sometimes higher, sometimes lower. Sometimes with more intensity, sometimes with less.
This is the idea behind the NO STRESS theme and the X-Design by Beatrice Müller brand. But there is much more to the topic. Stress influences and affects many areas of life nowadays. More and more people feel that they are reaching the limits of their resilience in everyday life. They are stressed – the result is an inner imbalance and an imbalance.

Dealing consciously with stress is therefore becoming increasingly important, as it cannot be avoided. We can only change our attitude towards it and take away its meaning and power. Conversely, being aware that stress is there does not mean that we have to deal with it at all times. You are always free to decide which wave you want to ride and when you want to return to inner peace. NO STRESS…IS A MATTER OF ATTITUDE! NO STRESS therefore means that you are in “your time” and there is an awareness of what you take on and when. You only allow stress when you do it consciously and when it is necessary. At the same time, you can actively return to inner peace.

HOW DID THE LETTERING COME ABOUT?

When creating the X-Design by Beatrice Müller brand and the associated NO STRESS philosophy, the designer realized that “STRESS” is a much bigger word than “NO”. As a result, the two words had different strengths. By turning the “T”, this relationship took on a different weighting. “STRESS” came to a standstill and the red thread was able to continue.

“The horizontal “T” symbolizes that small changes can take away the power of stress. The common thread continues,” explains Beatrice Müller.

WHAT IS THE BASIC IDEA OF THE THEME?

The NO STRESS theme is a continuation of the antennas that were created 15 years ago on September 11. It was and is about communication, sending and receiving. The antennas stand for: “What I send out comes back to me”. It is very similar with NO STRESS: “If I live in inner peace, I encounter peace from the outside. If I am stressed, the stress lives in me and around me.”
